Prophet Ricky R. Smith Sr., is a native & resident of Springfield Illinois where he received his education from Iles Elementary School, Withrow Elementary School, Jefferson Middle School, Southeast High School. He enrolled in Lincoln Land Community College and received an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Automotive and Auto Body Technology. He also attended Lincoln Christian University and received his Bachelor of Arts in 2010. Prophet Ricky R. Smith is a man in pursuit of everything God has for him. He continues to study the word of God on a daily basis. Currently, he is taking classes for his Masters Degree. Prophet Smith is an advocate of education but he maintains that there must be a balance between a knowledge of God and a relationship with him.
In 2003, Prophet Smith was ordained an Elder in Love Deliverance Evangelistic Church. The Lord spoke to the prophet regarding his call to lead a flock of believers. He started a small bible study from his home. As he continued in his walk, the lord made it clear of the call on his life. Ricky R. Smith embraced this revelation and began the journey of his purpose and destiny. The name of the church has been altered and the vision has become acutely clear. Prophet Smith is a bold preacher who loves to teach Gods word and see the lives of the people changed. Ricky R. Smith Sr. is a man after the heartbeat of God. He remains humble and obedient to the word of God. He is a man of God with strong acclimation for order in the house of God. He expects every believers life to line up with the word. He leads by example by requiring the same standards for his own life. Prophet Ricky R. Smith Sr. believes strongly in accountability and the lord has placed him under the covering of his spiritual father~Bishop William Hudson III.
